Since 1993, we’ve grown from humble beginnings as a garage door company into specialists in barriers, bollards, and certified workplace safety solutions. With over 30 years of experience, our team is proud to help shape safer spaces across New Zealand and Australia, working to reduce injuries, prevent fatalities, and protect both people and premises.
In 2001, we expanded our safety mission into the Australian market. Since then, we’ve proudly supplied safety solutions nationwide, supporting industries across the country and helping ensure more workers get home safely every day.

1993 -
Started in Kaikorai Valley, Dunedin, New Zealand.
1998 -
Rebranded to Tru-Bilt Industries.
1999 -
Added Bollards & Barriers to the product range & completed our first Tru-Gard project.
2004 -
First certification for Tru-Gard Barrier System.
2016 -
Installed our first CNC manufacturing equipment.
2019 -
Moved into our current, purpose- built production facility.
