With a moderate slope where cars park sideways and only an aesthetic glass balustrade for edge protection, the risks were obvious. A moment’s distraction – a wrong gear, or the accelerator instead of the brake – could have sent a vehicle over the edge to the street below. Not exactly the safest parking solution.
